Mission and Purpose of the University Secretariat:

Welcome to the University Secretariat! In everything we do we’re dedicated to supporting an evolving, inclusive and thriving governance framework that meets the needs of the University today, and into the future. We provide guidance and advice to all areas of the University to enable the ongoing development and implementation of good governance practices which help advance the University’s strategic priorities.

The University’s governance structure includes the Board of Governors and the Academic Council. We work closely with these bodies, senior leadership and the broader University community to foster diverse engagement and thoughtful decision making within the University’s governance framework as the University grows and evolves.

In addition to our advisory role, we facilitate the University’s internal elections, administer undergraduate academic appeals, and oversee the University’s Policy Framework.
